Beavers are SO common around here, you can usually see one on demand if you go out at the right time. However, this one is a special case because someone on this lake has been illegally trapping them for the last few years, (with the result that the water levels have been lower than than the previous 3 decades). It was great to see this feisty one swimming around – fingers crossed.
