The guy that runs L’Aspergie is from Belgium – rather than doing something sensible he followed a romantic notion and moved to the woods of Quebec to run an asparagus farm. He invited a mushroom club. that I belong to, last year to do our rummaging on his land. He’s a very pleasant and interesting person. The asparagus is also quite good.
