A special place.   These two skiers were searching for the old Pleasant  Hidden Valley trail.  I wonder if they found it or if it is covered in debris.

Yes – it’s a very pleasant place – #20 formerly known as Pipe Dream. It’s best experienced on a cool day with full sun – just like yesterday. The only problem is that when you get on that pond it’s very hard to find the resolution to continue on.

Your searchers were a long way from “Pleasant Valley”. It’s still existent as #34 which goes from #6 (Skyline) to #4.

Perhaps the two skiers were looking for Hidden Valley trail which would of crossed the pond looking towards Ridge road and is also on the 1993 map that Ron mentioned.
