Yesterday was unusual because I carried my SLR while skiing (look up Cotton Carrier, it’s fabulous). My own ski was less than brilliant as my waxless skis worked only out of the icy track, starting to do their job just as I finished my short ski. However, as a connoisseur of both outdoor scenery and excellent ski technique, I was richly rewarded and thrilled that I had the camera along!
That Cotton Carrier does look awesome…wear did you buy yours?
*where*, not *wear* 🙂
I didn’t expect it to work out quite so well for skiing. So comfortable! I ordered it from the guy in Alberta a few years ago, but I believe they are starting to show up in local camera stores. It is wonderful for hiking, too, with a dog along, or for lugging your camera around ski race sites.
