It was 20 degrees this afternoon, and I played chicken with the forecast rain, one foot in winter, and the other in summer, so it seemed. Skiing through alternating cold and warm air pockets is invigorating! Luckily the rain held off (just barely !) although there were some rather frightening wind gusts just before I finished. Skiing with klister was surprisingly pleasant (thanks, Suhong!) although the conditions could not be called good by any stretch of imagination!

I’m glad you had a good outing with kilster. Genevieve and I quite enjoyed skiing on Burma today on our klister skis as well. It was fabulous to be surrounded by the sights and sounds of spring in the woods.

P.S. Thanks for all your wonderful photos throughout the year. You give all of us a treat even on the days that we don’t manage to be outdoors.
