This is the time of year, when, if you are on foot, you can see just how much trash has been tossed from cars. This was gathered on Meech Lake Road, between P8 and Kingsmere, and once my arms were full (should have run with a large trash can in tow) I estimated that there was a piece of trash about every two or three steps. Most were pop cans and were on the far side of the ditch where they would be invisible beneath the summer grass and the winter snow. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

Thank your for cleaning up some of the mess that inconsiderate people have left. I don’t understand why people who go to the park to see its beauty would leave such a mess.
Your website will probably be only seen by people who like to take care of the environment. Is there a way to put that photograph somewhere for all to see? Visitor Centre ?
