A small group of Sofits starting out from P17.    The weather was good, and it was wonderful to be skiing in this area of the park with good friends. On the downside, many of the downhills were thoroughly scraped, (tricky when maneuvering around  numerous skiers including  small children) and there was quite a bit of pine litter.   I don’t think the ski trail maintenance is really keeping up with the increased number of users.  (Hmmm, do you think they are doing well this year, having groomed only a couple times before January, and with gas prices being so low? )

I agree, the grooming is rather poor this year. I often ski in the sector closest to town (Gamelin, Asticou) and the Parkways there are often not track set or groomed at all in spite of regular snow falls. Yet they do P 8 to P 9 all the time. Helga
