
I splurged on an expensive dehydrator a few years ago and it has been the best purchase ever. Now our camp meals are entirely homemade, usually with garden produce or almost fresh fruit. It turns out you can dehydrate just about anything. I am so thrilled with how the meals turned out this trip that you may think this is a recipe site! There is oatmeal in this meal but it was covered with dehydrated strawberries, bananas, blueberries, almonds and powdered milk.
