This deer is ALIVE! In 2018, during the fall and winter, the Quebec Ministry of “Forêts, Faunes et Parcs” hired American sharpshooters to annihilate the entire deer population in a 45 K radius, in case wasting disease had escaped a local farm. Last year’s hunting season was also greatly extended in case any does, bucks or fawns had been overlooked. (All deer were tested, but not one case was found in the wild deer population).
