It took a minute to spot the bench at Herridge. Today was a classic wax hell day, with deep, fresh snow at zero degrees, but the scenery was awesome. Neither Garry’s skin skis nor my wax skis were working well. Mine were seriously clumping (or not gripping), Garry’s had no grip whatseover. We came home pleasantly exhausted!
