SKI CONDITIONS in GATINEAU PARK?
I’ve been receiving questions about XC Ottawa’s missing ski trail reporting site. Apparently the hosting company made some fatal errors so the site is unfortunately offline for now. Craig (the awesome webmaster) expects to be looking for a new hosting company in the next couple of weeks. We all miss the site and the variety of posts! I will post here if there is news!
In the meantime, never fear, there are some other great ski reporting sites and some of the reporting skiers post before the sun rises! The first two are on Facebook.
- Natural Fitness Lab Trail Reports and Grooming
- Ski de Fond en Outaouais – xc skiing in Ottawa-Gatineau
- Nordic Pulse – which is used by all the local xc ski areas. Gatineau Park is also supposed to be using this awesome app but doesn’t have it running yet.

THANK YOU! I was literally just researching a few minutes ago whether the domain was available, and how hard it would be to run a forum! (Discovered that it’s not available, and running a forum would be doable but a PAIN, so I’m very glad Craig’s bringing it back!)
I really miss the site as well, it holds together the xc collective mindset and skiing now feels a bit too lonely. I am willing to help reboot it in any way
