Lots of new snow – the kind we dream about! Oddly, according to a very late report, Demsis opted not to groom because there wasn’t enough snow. Seriously?! We have had three major thaws since the skiiing started, and only a fraction of the trails have been open. I would have expected them to rush out to groom this wonderful new snowfall. In any case classic skiing was thoroughly enjoyable in the fresh snow. It was the poor skaters who were slogging through it. Apparently the groomers were out at 2:00 this afternoon. I wonder if that is “tomorrow’s” grooming?
