A very early morning first ski of the year! We measured almost 10 cm of snow. Surprisingly the parkways were groomed, or at least compacted. It was a faster ski than most first skis as we didn’t have to slog through fresh snow. Unfortunately there was a thin, icy strip (you can see it in both photos) which was, according to Garry, already down to bare pavement by noon hour.
