What a treat! It was my first bike ride in months, and I managed to get out of the house by 6:45. As chance would have it I took my slower bike, and my zoom camera. These two bears and a cute little straggling cub behind them were about 100 meters away. Note the cyclists in the far right of the photo – also just letting the bears cross. What a great start to the day! I saw two small, playful cubs on the road near Lac Renaud in late July. They were about as big as a mid-size dog.
