A dark, windy night and a view of Orion. The plan was to hike across the lake and try some long star trails, but the cloud cover allowed only a very late and hasty session. It was a test to see if I could remember how to do it! About 10 minutes after this most of the stars were snuffed out.
That is a beautiful night shot. How long was the exposure?
ISO 400, f 2.8, 30 seconds. And the exposure was boosted 1 stop in post processing.
