Solitary dusk deer, Lac Champagneur – a photo from last week.  Today we saw 4 fawns –  two with their mother near Black Lake  and another family in our back yard.   Do watch out if you are driving or cycling in the park, and consider slowing down.  The deer are browsing the edge of the parkway.  The young one are VERY PLAYFUL and  CURIOUS, especially when cars and bicycles go by.     (Have a great week – I’m off to the White Mountains!)
