I almost didn’t ski since I’ve been sick for a few days. As a cure, it seemed to help! What a beautiful day, and the skiing was lovely, almost like mid Winter.
Photo: some skaters cruising on LacPhilippe. I thought this was a bit risky since there are currents and the ice is fairly thin, but it was beautiful to see.

When you ski from P16 how close to p19 can you get? I assume that there is not much snow on the road leading from p19? Sounds like they have finally done a good job grooming #50. It is one of my favourite trails but I found the grooming much better on Ridge even though 50 seemed to have plenty of snow.
Garry made it as far as one hill from P19. He said that 50 wasn’t great after trail 55, very icy and that he wouldn’t have skied down the south facing slopes. The rest of 50 was really good today, better than I’ve seen it in 4 years. We used to often ski 50 to avoid the weekend parking crushes in the Chelsea sector, but got out of the habit when the grooming went downhill.
