We noticed this bouquet of roses beside the parkway near Kingsmere the other day. Is it a memorial?

Yes…there was a sign with it the weekend before thanking people for trying to revive an older gentleman.

On the morning of Feb. 2, four good Samaritan skiers took turns giving CPR to a man there for at least 45 minutes before paramedics arrived to take him by sleigh to an ambulance at P6. Unfortunately, he did not survive. A reminder that the Park emergency number, 613-239-5353, is on the back of your ski pass, but it’s in a very small font. I saved it in my cell phone contact list.

Sad to hear about this, but a good reminder that the emergency number is on our passes. Thanks Sue and Cindy.
