(2 photos) At 1:00 the humidex was already at 41 degrees. (Hey- just 6 more months and we should be skiing again!)  This resident toad dug himself into a little cave beneath the parsley.  He is beautifully camouflaged and would never have been spotted if he hadn’t twitched.
