(4 photos) I first spotted this mama bear 2 meters from my bike while I was cycling down the Black Lake hill.  (I’m glad I wasn’t watching my odometer.)  She was engrossed in lunching on the greenery.  The photos were taken from further down the hill, with digital zoom (something I usually avoid using, but it suddenly seemed like a good idea! ).  Quite a few cyclists and cars went by, but she was oblivious to all and gave the impression of being there for the day.  Her two tiny cubs were nearby in the forest.  Please be careful and keep an eye out for wildlife when driving or cycling in the park.
