Several of us opted to skip the usual New Year’s morning ski because of the continuing cold temperatures (minus 18 when we started, and a brisk wind). We had a lovely run/hike and stayed toasty warm. No ice cream headaches, and no worries about glide. It was a gorgeous morning and we had the trail to outselves!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
