Skyline! Heavenly! And no icy, snowplowed, bare sections yet. The fresh snow made me want to give up track skiing forever (I’d have to improve a lot at back country skiing to do this ). It was so much fun that I did it in both directions.
And Mother Nature would also have to give up the thaws and freezing rain!

Hi Jo-Ann:
I can only compliment the two entwined telemark tracks – to me they’re poetry in snow – one of the joys of new deep powder is doing telemarks without interference from tracksetting. Regrettably these conditions don’t happen as often as they should – but when they do – paradise.
Mother Nature would also have to give us snowfalls all the time before you could give up track setting skiing!
