(Photos are once again up to date) Wow!  A ski in the park – a rare commodity lately.  It was an early evening ski on the Pink Lake trails.  Lovely wintery snow, and largely deserted.  This happens every year when the local competitive skiers have finished their races and start focusing on other, less wintery things.  Their loss, our gain.

Must have been the late hour. The P7 overflow lot was… overflowing(!) at noon today. Same with P19 on Saturday. There are still a few people out skiing! You’re right though. I don’t see any heavy packs “getting their miles in” skiing at night now that CSM is over. And trail 15 has lost (some of) the skaters now that the loppet is over.
