January 2, 2011: Ice and more ice

We went to check out the lights near Gamelin this evening, since it wasn’t too cold and we had some trusty ice grippers.  The ice was awesome and the cloud cover made for a very bright walk!   (And  don’t those hydro wires add a nice touch?)  Click on the next page to see a real ski photo taken today.

I have found so many vistas are spoiled by hydro lines, heading south, in Quebec. But they do tell us our hydro rates are relatively low. That anomaly will be fixed with planned annual rate increases ..vistas will remain as they are, however.
