(Two photos today) Boo hoo! I had to bail out of a ski with good friends today, because my recovering knee still can’t deal with the icy morning conditions, which I found quite nasty at P19 this morning. In places there were no classic tracks at all because of the ice and/or shallow tilling. Other years I would have skated and managed fine. Very frustrating!
In any case, Ingrid took this wonderful photo of what I missed! Here is Chris soaking up the sun at a lean-to near Lac Renaud. (Has anyone else ever seen this shelter? ) Thanks for sending the photo!

Hi Joanne, Six of us camped in that lean-to on Saturday night. We got a great view of the super moon. The groomer went by quite early and left us with fresh tracks to ski home on.

Hi Heather – nice to hear from you . What a great idea to see the super moon there.
Do you need to register to use this shelter, or just show up? I didn’t even realize it existed.
