It was a beautiful afternoon ski. This flooded area on Ridge Road came up to about the height of the trail. Does anyone ever recall seeing this in other years? I can’t quite recall where it was, but I think near Shilly Shally.

I recall the area right before Shilly Shally a few years ago had a picnic table on the middle of the trail so you could somewhat get across!!!!
A few days ago when things were colder I passed by there (betwixt Shilly Shally and the Fortune Parkway) and thought “you could almost skate in there.”
The year we got 4 meters of snow. It was somewhere mid-april and I crossed it barefoot – it was sunny and plus 20 degrees that day! Indeed it was near Shilly Shally
