The weather here is depressing, dreary and drab. I am taking a leave of absence from the site until it snows or an exotic wild animal crosses my path. In the meantime, here are some fantastic photos taken by friends and relatives. These first 4 are at sea level, and were taken in September when Garry had to travel for work. They were taken with his small Canon pocket camera. Location? Guess until tomorrow.

New Brunswick? Newfoundland?
If I recall correctly you posted a photo (that I can’t find in your archives) of Garry’s from this same location (well, taken from the tip of the point in the distance), and it was somewhere in England (judging by the waves, I’d say it’s the coast of England).
It reminded me of Cape Breton. It’s the first photo posted from this trip, but your guess was good, Chris!
Looks like the west coast of Ireland to me, north of Galway.
Beautiful.
Good guess, but St. Patrick chased the snakes from Ireland!
A secluded cove near Land’s End on the Southwest Coast Path. This is an amazing walk (total length about 1000km) along the coast of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. The scenery is spectacular and, considering it’s in the UK, it wasn’t very crowded. Check out http://www.southwestcoastpath.com for more photos.
