A beautiful ski outing!!  By noon there was about 7 cm of snow down.  Classic on the edges was worry-free, just point and go.  The parkways seemed to me to have less of a base than yesterday (in terms of an icy coating)  but the few skaters we saw were not complaining.    One was even doing uphill intervals.

Be very careful if you are driving in to ski.  The roads from Ottawa were apparently quite treacherous, and even in Chelsea cars were losing control at intersections.

Merry Christmas, safe driving and Happy Skiing!

finally some snow – just beautiful yesterday – clearing a pond rink for Gerry for while he is here – so peaceful and quiet just gorgeous. Maybe I will get on the trails today or tomorrow.
