It was a surprisingly beautiful morning for canoeing on Meech Lake.  Within a few minutes we had spotted the loon family, an Osprey (we think), a heron, geese and a multitude of ducks.  We also heard some loud smashing of trees in the woods – and whatever it was got the dog vigorously sniffing.

That must be your shiny new canoe.
