A quick hike up to the Penguin Picnic Area last Sunday, to pay yearly hommage to my favorite Beech tree, which frequently shows up on the blog in October. This tree is just another tree in the forest during the rest of the year. It’s interesting how green it was this October 14, compared to other years.
