THE FIRST SKI OF THE YEAR! This is Pam, the only skier I met this morning on the Gatineau Parkway. Early, the conditions were surprisingly good on the grass although the parkway itself was too wet and thin for skiing. I expect teams were out in force in other locations. Unfortunately temperatures are rising.

There have been a few in October, but the snow never lasted – and this one won’t last either.
