A purple finch (a pretty firm guess – Dominique?) in the Viburnam, photographed last week. Today is dreary. It’s overcast and slightly below zero in Chelsea, the wet snow refrozen after yesterday’s thaw. Interestingly the Gatineau Park ski conditions page recommends trails that were groomed before the thaw, but I’m not even slightly tempted to ski today.
