Every year, the CFUW Trail women hike in the Park to see the spring ephemerals. The Lauriault Trail is a favourite. Every year we see a couple of yellow trilliums. I think they are a variant of the red trillium shown here (Trillium erectum) lacking the red pigment. Keep an eye out for them. They are fairly unusual.
