Neat! We camped in the park last month and I took an almost identical picture so it looked really familiar. I loved the textures of the moss and the patterns of the roots. I’m also particularly fond of that trail. Delighted to see your photo.
I loved it too! Next time I would like to go earlier in the day. We hiked several of the shorter trails on highway 60 and it was noon and 30 degrees before we made it here. I would love to see it at sunrise.

It’s a good place to go to warm up after a cool night. We saw a spruce grouse on this trail once when we went early. Enjoy the park!
