I’ve been trying to decide if Torin is the same breed as MacKenzie, but clipped? Is Torin male, and what breed? Does this also mean there has been a sad goodbye to MacKenzie, because we’ve loved following his adventures?
Yes, MacKenzie died of old age last July. He was a great dog! Torin IS the same breed. Collies come in both smooth and rough coats. Other than the (much easier)shorter coat smooths are identical in every way. In fact,there can be both smooth and rough in one litter. We are hoping Torin will love boats as much as MacKenzie did. He is not keen on stepping into water!
