Hikers on the Gatineau Parkway – skiing officially ended today. It’s time to switch from skiing to other activities. Thank you Demsis and the NCC for saving us all this past year. It would have been a dismal winter without your dedication to the trails.

in the archive feature of this blog you can actually check out the last 10 years of photos by month and year to compare. I usually ski the parkways, Ridge and Burma at least to the second week of April, and often it’s later. And there are always a few heroes skiing to the fire tower well after I hang up my skis. 2012 was another very early year. We were cycling on the parkways weeks ahead of schedule.
