Highlights of yesterday’s early cycle in the park? An inspiring classic roller skier step-double polling past me on the uphill to Penguin! Coyote scat – lots of it. Hermit Thrushes singing throughout the park. Few bugs even when I stopped to check out the swamps. Kamikaze young chipmunks. And best of all, three sets of does with a fawn. This was the most curious fawn, just near Mica.
