A trail in the Rouge Valley area, part of the Quebec snowmobile network in the winter, and a hunting trail in November, it was a delightful walk to an isolated lake named “Mitten Lake” (roughly translated). Lots of old growth trees, and very quiet as no one around here walks except during hunting season.

Alex, this is about 8 K from the bustling center of Boileau, a little far for a daily dog walk! This is a the walk that Rosy, Kerry and Jake did while they were visiting last week. Next time come up with Rosy and bring that wonderful new dog with you!
