First thing spotted out the window this morning was this flashy guy. After a two week absence only a few larger birds are visiting my feeders. Woodpeckers, one blue jay, this cardinal. Missing are the nuthatches and all but one of the goldfinches and chickadees. Could a hawk keep them away for this extended length of time?
