As you can see the loon chicks are looking quite mature, quite big and just a bit grayer in colour than the parents. The chicks are the two leading the flotilla. Apparently at this age they can dive as well as the adults and catch about 50% of their own fish. They should soon be learning to fly. That will be fun to watch!
