One of the best things about staying in a cabin (and having sleds to haul all the stuff in with), is that you can bring cameras, tripods and all the fun stuff to do night photos with.   This is the first (but not last) time I’ve set up a tripod ON a lake. ` This was a 30 second exposure, so you can see how quickly the clouds were moving.  It was minus 17 outside.   Do you see any familiar stars there?  You should.

This is the first of several photos taken on the extended weekend.
