Taylor Lake at 4:10 a.m. – summer solstice (give or take a day or so), a glimmer of dawn already lighting the sky. The forest birds began to sing, shriek and hammer away a few minutes after this. I have to add that I am really happy with this photo because I had only a small camera along for the trip, and the exposure limit was 15 seconds. The anti-shake was turned off, it was on a small tripod (all set up before I went to bed just in case I happened to wake up before sunrise) and a 5 second delay was used to prevent shake.

Once again, a fantastic photograph – I love the relection of the cloud formation on the lake.
Of course, what I really meant was reflection!!
Jo-Ann: This is a spectacular photo. I check M on S regularly, to keep track of my Ottawa “kin”. To view your photos is almost as good as being beside you. Not at 4:10 am, however. Thank you.
