The little pond past P8 (heading towards Penguin) is what Garry refers to as the Goose Pit. It’s not really called that, by anyone other than us, but it seems apt as the geese raise their young each year beside the roadway there.
Thanks Joanne. I now know exactly where it is, and yes, the name is appropriate….I like it. I must admit I love the view of the pond and the hills in the background. That area always has a lot of artists later in the year.
