The undergrowth and flowers made a miraculous recovery following last night’s two or three hours of  heavy rain.   Biting bugs also enjoyed a rebirth.   Ouch!  The mid- morning humidity (97% !) was  oppressive  – more difficult than any of the higher temperatures earlier this week.

I agree … I don’t think I have ever been that hot riding my bike before…I can scratch off biking in the Amazon Forest fromy bucket list since that was what it felt like going up Fortune Parkway in extreme slo-mo!
