I was gardening (?) well removing leaves yesterday and found a periwinkle flower already in bloom – nature is really amazing. The primulars are growing gangbusters as well – spring is like christmas is the garden – full of surprises.
My first sign of spring is when I have my first snake sighting as I ride my bike along the Trans Canada Trail between Kanata and Bells Corners. Saw one yesterday, so I guess it’s spring!
